We were kindly gifted this bath seat to review by Jané with our 7 week old baby Jackson, and from the very 1st use it has been a success! It is always quite scary not knowing how young babies will react to something new and trying to make them feel calm, relaxed and secure isn’t always an easy task.

Now generally Jackson loves his baths and we were very excited to try something new here, that will suit his age range and see him through for the months to come as he grows. For us the 2 in 1 hammock ticks all our boxes and here’s why…

Why Choose this bath seat?

This is a fab seat as firstly you are getting two baby bath seats for the price of one! There is no need to buy or use anything else until your little one is old enough to not need a bath seat anymore.

It lays down, sits up and folds down so is compact for storage. Smaller Babies are made to feel secure by the side arm rests and cradled by the head and back support. When they are older so around 6+ months sitting up in the bath seat there is a t-bar front that opens and closes for easy access in and out the bath. This bath seat also has suckers on the base so it will stay firmly in place when bathing your little one.

The design of this bath seat is pretty unique as normally you would have to buy a small newborn bath support/hammock or a baby bath separately and then an upright seat later on as they grow. I for one, love products that multi task and do more than one job as not only does it save you space at home with all the other baby equipment, it also makes life easier for parents and saves some money not having to purchase more products.

The two colour choices green or blue are great to suit most bathrooms and are gender neutral colours. We particularly like the blue colour as it fits in with our bathroom colour scheme quite well. It also takes up less than half the bath tub space when I have to bath both my sons together so that is great! More play space for the boys and all their bath toys aswell.

So to summarise the Jané Aqua 2 in 1 hammock & bath seat gets our family seal of approval!
