We have been using the Nom Nom kids snack bags for a little while now and they are fab! I always highly recommend them to family and friends. I like the fact they have two design options so I know which is which for my boys aswell as writing their names on them of course!

We have recently been sent some more products in their range for review and again I only have great things to say about them. There is no age limit for these and you can pretty much put anything you want in them so cereal, snacks, fruit, crisps, biscuits, muffins, meals, jelly, smoothies, yogurt, sauces and so on! So our biggest plus points we have found using the snack bags and larger food pouches are this:

  1. They are made from very durable BPA Free, Phthalate Free, PVC Free material and are Freezer & Dishwasher Safe
  2. The different monster and jungle designs are vibrant, recognisable and the kids love them
  3. They are clearly labelled with care instructions, include a space to write child’s name and the contents, date, even whether to hear up or keep chilled. So they are perfect for nursery, school or even family to use.
  4. Easy to clean by hand or through the dishwasher
  5. Reusable! So much more environmentally friendly than buying hundreds of single use pouches that end up in landfill. I find it also encourages me to make more homemade foods to go in them too!
  6. You can purchase a semi permanent pen which is the best thing I’ve used on them as it writes neatly and is easily removed for writing a new contents label or name on. Much easier than stickers used on other brands & the messy pen residue left behind on other brands we have used too
  7. The pouches are compatible with our Infantino squeeze station! So this would make the weaning stage and making homemade pouches for a baby easy. You can also just spoon or pour mix in by opening the pouch at the side. There’s even a liquid measurement level! This is not included on other pouches we have used.
  8. Available in 140ml or 200ml size the pouches are perfect for young babies, older children even adults on the go. We always take our pouches & snack packs away from home with us
  9. The pouches and snack packs do not leak when used properly and take up very little space in the fridge, freezer, changing bag etc!
  10. One advantage is that you can buy spare caps, extra pouches or snack packs, easily so if you lose one or just would like a few more it’s easy to do. Unlike some other brands we have used where you can only buy say a pack of 10. This is much better for parents and easier on the pocket too not having to buy more of something than you need! Lastly these actually stand up! Something so simple but trust me when your trying to spoon or pour, squeeze mixture in you don’t want them falling over. Likewise in the fridge or freezer it’s better to stand them up.
  11. Compatible with pouch spoons, pouch tops (a softer, gentler way of feeding baby straight from the pouch or letting them self feed). Also pouch handles! Something I’ve only just discovered and will be buying!
  12. It does not matter how you choose to prepare food & feed your little ones either as these pouches work great for home made, shop bought snacks, finger foods, purees, blended textured meals anything! They will even hold liquid very well so milk for mum’s tea/coffee even or a few tea bags perhaps.
