Boys will be boys! and our little boy has always had a fascination about anything with wheels. Not only does he LOVE Cars, Trains and buses … pretty much any mode of transport to be honest! Since the age of about 1 we have been through so many ride ons, scooters, trikes and bikes. My true little favourite out of all of them though has to be the Scuttle Bug! It’s a perfect size for toddlers, great little wheels and best of all folds up so compact to take on your travels with you. It will even fit into a standard pram basket pretty well! Brody had one like this and it has lasted really well so has been put away for baby boy no.2 to use.
They come in a 3 or 4 wheeled version and you can find out a little more info HERE https://www.mookie.co.uk/news/scuttlebug-and-scramblebug-unique-toddler-ride-ons-mookie

Getting kids active and learning to balance and move freely from a young age is fantastic. Now aged 5 Brody has mastered riding a bike without stabilizers and rides his scooter to school most days. We could not be prouder of our little chap right now. It’s the everyday small things and the big milestones like this to, that make children and parents feel so proud and gives us a sense of accomplishment over the years together.
Here is a little video of the day Brody learnt to ride his bike and you will see just how proud we were indeed and the smile on his face says it all! (We had to take 2 videos of course to not miss capturing this moment).
I have also created a gallery of some lovely images to show just how much enjoyment Brody’s had from his ride on toys over the years at home and out and about. Big fans of Fisherprice, Little Tikes and Schwinn (trike) here. I can’t believe how fast kids grow! I miss my baby. Plus a little more video footage below to view.
Also as a nice treat to co-inside with the arrival of our new baby boy very soon, Brody is getting a bedroom make over of his own! Bye Bye Dinosaurs and cuddly toys! HELLO VINTAGE CARS & TRANSPORT! Naturally he is very excited about this and we now have a nursery to complete and the task of making his bedroom more grown up and fun for him. Two very lucky boys and two tired parents that will be kept very busy in the months to come!
More stories to follow on the boy’s bedrooms soon.
